04 Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is one of the most powerful tools available to any betper player who feels that their gambling has become, or is at risk of becoming, a problem. When you self-exclude, your betper account is locked, all access is blocked, and all marketing communications directed to you will stop immediately.

How to Request Self-Exclusion

   Confirmation — betper will process your self-exclusion request and send you a written confirmation within 24 hours. Your account will be locked as soon as the request is processed — no further deposits, bets, or withdrawals will be possible.

   Any Remaining Balance — If you have a positive balance in your betper account at the time of self-exclusion, contact support to arrange a withdrawal before the lock is applied, or within 7 days of account closure.

What Happens During Self-Exclusion

• Your betper account is suspended and cannot be accessed.
• All betper marketing emails, SMS messages, and push notifications to you are stopped immediately.
• betper will take reasonable steps to prevent you from creating a new account during the exclusion period. If you attempt to re-register, the account will be closed when identified.
• Your account data is retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations — it is not deleted during self-exclusion.

Returning After Self-Exclusion

After a temporary self-exclusion period ends, you may request account reactivation by contacting [email protected]. betper applies a mandatory 7-day reflection period before reactivating any self-excluded account, to ensure that the decision to return to gambling is considered and deliberate. A permanent self-exclusion can only be lifted after a minimum of 5 years and requires written confirmation from the player along with a review by our responsible gaming team.
